Catharina Mia
Originally from Germany, is living on the Balearic Islands since 2003. The well-traveled cosmopolitan is licensed Ayurveda and Shiatsu massage therapist. She is also trained in yoga, relaxation- and meditation techniques.

In 2001 my education led me through Kerala in South-West India.
I was lucky to meet Dr. Govindam there, a man who impressed me from the first moment on with his calming charisma and his enormous expertise.
I stayed at this energetic place and was initiated into the secrets of the millennia-old knowledge of Ayurveda. There I received a substantiated education of diverse healing therapies, learned different massage techniques and got a comprehensive insight into nutrition science.
With this apprenticeship in India a new door opened for me and I realized that I now want to open a door for others.
With my Chi Balance I see myself as an ambassador of the ancient Indian art of healing and would like to bring a bit of relaxation and healthy lifestyle into our hectic western world.
